Mon Petit Fleur was established in 2008 in Durbanville.

My name is Monique and I am the owner and the florist. I have been in the flower industry for many years, creating natural, original works of art using only the best quality flowers.

I began my career in die flower industry delivering flowers for a well known flower franchise in South Africa. After a year I became the shop manager. A year later the business was sold and I left the franchise.

The opportunity then presented itself to start my own business, which resulted in opening up Cosmos Flower Boutique in the popular Tyger Valley shopping center. After a couple of years I felt the need to expand my horizons and venture out! I was very privileged to join the newly built super yacht, Athena, in Amsterdam, and spend 4 years sailing the Mediterranean and Caribbean seas. Here I was exposed to international flower trends and designs, purchasing and arranging flowers for the guest areas on the yacht. I gained a broad knowledge of the floral industry around the globe.

On my return to South Africa in 2008, I launched Mon Petit Fleur Floral Design and now specialize in Flowers and Décor for all occasions across the Winelands and Cape Town area.
